big and getting bigger
Got to Panama City 2 days ago and have been staying with an incredibly generous family friend. Flashy place. Wants to be Miami but with more banks and snobbery. Today I went around town looking for a way to get to Colombia. Flights are cheap but I really wanted to avoid planes on this trip. After asking at a hostel that did bookings and asked around at a couple yacht clubs, I got ride on a boat through a friend of a friend of a friend heading to Cartagena tomorrow morning from Colon(long story, will elaborate later). I have to be in Colon tonight to meet the captain. Now I've gotta catch the bus to Colon. See you in Cartagena...I hope.
